Adrian today met with Sandwell women’s aid to discuss the fantastic work this group is doing within the local community. During the one hour meeting Adrian met with the officers of the group, discussed funding and agreed to visit women’s refuge on the 22^nd of February, with local Councillor Maria Crompton.

Speaking after the event, Adrian said:

‘I was very impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the staff involved who play a vital role in supporting women who have been abused in the local community.’

‘There work reduces the pressure on other public services and is a source of re-assurance for women who do not know where to turn to.'
