Hundreds gather to pay their respects at Wednesbury Remembrance Day service

Rememberance Day

Adrian joined hundreds of members of the local community at the Remembrance Service at the Wednesbury War Memorial.

Adrian was extremely pleased to see that community efforts with the local authority has ensured that the names of those that have fallen in the World Wars and subsequent conflicts have been placed next to the memorial.

Adrian said: "I was glad to join the Wednesbury community in commemoration of those fallen in the cause of freedom and peace. It was an opportunity also for us to think about the invaluable sacrifices which are being made by our brave armed forces in Afghanistan and around the world. As always, this was a very moving service, superbly organised by the Wednesbury British Legion, local Churches and volunteers."
